PLT 3320W - Soil Fertility and Fertilizers (2) Examine soil nutrient availability, the impact of fertilizers on plant mineral nutrition and crop production, and the interpretation of soil test results for fertilization decisions. Addresses the economic and environmental implications of fertilizer use, emphasizing sustainable practices and the role of precision agriculture in enhancing nutrient use efficiency. Writing-Intensive courses must be passed with a C or higher to count towards the University’s 3-unit Writing Requirement.
