Application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) techniques for the analysis of spatial and locational patterns of human population, population characteristics and population change. Housing, migration and commuting patterns. Market analysis and site location decision support. Neighborhood segregation and transitions. Writing-Intensive courses must be passed with a C or higher to count towards the University’s 3-unit Writing Requirement.

Prerequisite(s): GEO 2400 , GEO 2400L , and junior or senior standing, or consent of instructor.
