CE 2070 - Computer Programming and Numerical Methods (2)


Numerical methods for civil engineering are algorithms developed by mathematicians and computer scientists to solve various problems in civil engineering. These algorithms should be implemented in computers. Detailed discussion on the concepts of algorithms widely used in civil engineering. Use of object-oriented programming language (such as Visual Basic and Python), Excel and MATLAB to implement algorithms to solve civil engineering problems.

Prerequisite(s): C- or better in MAT 224, MAT 2240 , or MAT 216.
Grading Basis: Graded Only
Repeat for Credit: May be taken only once
