CS 1280 - Introduction to C++ (3) Basic concepts of computer software and programming. Data types, expressions, control structures, functions, file and stream I/O. Use of pointers and dynamic storage allocation. Structured and abstract data types. Problem-solving techniques. Cannot be used for CS elective credit. Cannot be used for CS elective credit.
Prerequisite(s): C or better in MAT 1050 and MAT 1060 ; C or better in MAT 1052 and MAT 1060; C or better in MAT 1140 , MAT 1150 or MAT 2140; or consent of instructor.
