Student focused investigation of the interrelationships between a society’s subsistence and economic systems, level of socio-cultural development, and the natural and social environment inhabited. Tools and techniques utilized by particular societies in their exploitation of their surroundings.

Prerequisite(s): Junior or senior standing; and completion of GE Areas 1 and 2, or Areas A and B4 are recommended.
