ECS 3310 - Introduction to Working with Children with Disabilities and their Families (3) This course provides students with an overview of young children with disabilities and developmental delays. Students are introduced to variations in development of children with special needs ages birth through eight and the resulting impact on families. Students gain introductory knowledge about disability as a social, cultural, and historical construct. Working with Children with Special Needs and their Families 3 lecture/discussion; fieldwork assignment.
