ECS 3250 - Reconceptualizing Early Childhood Education: Alternative Narratives (3)


Critically examine major theories, philosophies, research and practices that dominate the field of early childhood and explore alternatives to re-imagine early childhood education for equity and social action. Analyze a wide range of theories and pedagogical approaches in the field of early childhood education through ongoing reflective writings and group presentations.

Prerequisite(s): C or better in ECS 1000 , ECS 1100 , ECS 2200 , and ECS 2350 .
