CS 1260 - Python for Beginners (3) Basic concepts of computer software and programming. Numbers, strings, and basic I/O. Expressions, control structures, lists, tuples, and functions. File I/O and introduction to exception handling. Introduction to object-oriented programming. Problem-solving techniques.
Prerequisite(s): C or better in MAT 105/MAT 1050 and MAT 106/MAT 1060 ; or MAT 112, MAT 114, MAT 115, MAT 116, MAT 214, MAT 215, MAT 216, MAT 1140 , MAT 1140C, MAT 1150 , MAT 1150C, MAT 2140 , or MAT 2140C.
