BIO 4380 - Bioinformatics (2) A survey of computational techniques and software applications currently used to organize, manipulate, and explore biological information. Students learn the theoretical bases of modern bioinformatic analysis. Some of the topics covered include sequence alignment, biological databases, phylogenetic reconstruction, analysis of protein structure and function.
