SOC 3314 - Black Sociology (3) Historical and contemporary experiences of African Americans in the United States from a sociological perspective. Examination of key historical eras that have shaped African Americans experiences (e.g., slavery, Jim Crow, Civil Rights) as well as present-day issues that affect African American lives today.
