BIO 4320 - Molecular Biology Techniques (3) Theory of major techniques currently used in the isolation and analysis of nucleic acids and proteins. Emphasis is placed on the scientific principles behind contemporary techniques such as chromatography, electrophoresis, PCR, DNA sequencing and analysis, and the specific application of these techniques to basic and applied research.
