Wind resource characteristics, aerodynamic and electrical properties of wind power conversion systems, fixed speed and variable speed wind turbines, fundamental wind turbine modeling, basic operation principles of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, PV array design and installation, interconnection of solar PV and wind turbines to power grids.
