CE 5501 - Advanced Engineering Mathematics (3)


Linear algebra, ordinary and partial differential equations, systems of differential equations, Fourier series, Laplace and Fourier transforms and their applications to structural engineering. MATLAB is used for numerical and symbolic computation. Applications include various areas of mechanics, solid mechanics, structural dynamics and vibration.

Prerequisite(s): Graduate Standing, undergraduate course in Multi-variable calculus, and differential equations or equivalent.
