ME 3150 - Engineering Materials (3) A study of the relationship among structure, processing and properties of engineering materials; strengthening mechanisms for ferrous and non-ferrous metals and the application of such materials in engineering situations; phase diagrams and their relevance to the structure, processing and properties of metallic alloys; mechanical behavior of polymers, ceramics and composites and their applications in engineering practice; corrosion and degradation of materials; introduction to nanomaterials.
