AG 1010 - Agriculture & The Modern World (3) Introduction to the history of modern agriculture, including its integration in social, economic and political institutions, its biological systems, the causes and impact of world hunger, and the implications of future changes and innovations in the production of food and fiber. Emphasis on critical analysis of agriculture within the United States and California, both from a historical perspective as well as the present situation and current issues. Open to all majors. Required of all College of Agriculture majors.
