GSC 3040 - Meteorology (3)

Framework topics such as atmospheric structure, composition, global heat budget, pressure and humidity form the base upon which a process-oriented, semi-quantitative, descriptive survey of major weather phenomena, including winds, clouds, precipitation and storms is conducted. Individual or team research presentations describe selected meteorological phenomena or case studies. Course fulfills GE synthesis B5.
