Importance of the human role in aspects of product and project design. Emphasis on issues, problems and solutions of unsafe acts, attitudes, errors and deliberate actions related to human behavior and the roles supervisors and management play in these actions. Human limitations related to human engineering, reliability, stress, medical standards, drug abuse and human physiology.

Prerequisite(s): ETT or EMSET major, and C- or better in MAT 1310 or MAT 130.
