Spanish medical nutrition therapy terminology and pathophysiology of chronic diseases. Reviews theory and practice of nutrition counseling by emphasizing development of active listening, questioning and reflection. Involves role playing, presentation of case studies and behavior modification.

Prerequisite(s): C or better in NTR 3450 or FN 345; NTR 3450A or FN 345L; and NTR 4430 or FN 443.
