PLT 5940 - Presentation of Research Proposal (1) A public, oral presentation and discussion of a proposed research plan for the master’s thesis. The student will develop and present, with the aid of the major professor, the scientific and statistical hypotheses, research design, proposed analytical methodologies, as well as a substantial selection from the literature review demonstrating the need and validity of the proposed thesis study. Required for Advancement to Candidacy. May be taken up to three times for a total credit of 3 units.
Prerequisite(s): Graduate Standing or Instructor Consent. Component(s): Supervisory Grading Basis: Graded Only Repeat for Credit: May be taken multiple times Repeat for Credit Limit: 3
