Review of classical controls. Introduction to robust and nonlinear control. Nonlinear systems. Nonlinear control, describing functions, and feedback linearization. Uncertainty in plant dynamics, loop shaping, robust control, and Lyapunov stability. Application to aerospace vehicles.

Prerequisite(s): ARO Major; C or better in ARO 322 or ARO 3220; and ARO 322L or ARO 3220L.
