Understanding of major Spanish early modern literary trends and authors. Literary works will be analyzed in their context of socio-cultural production attending to the rise of popular literature, adaptation, and feminine writing.

Prerequisite(s): SPN 250, SPN 251, SPN 252, SPN 253, SPN 254, SPN 256, SPN 2112, or SPN 2120.
