ME 3190 - Stress Analysis (3) Thin and thick-walled pressure vessels, shrink fit, curved beams, contact stresses, Castigliano’s theorem, buckling, and other special topics. Failure theories, stress concentration, steady and repeated loading. Fatigue and endurance strength, shaft design and analysis, fastener, and spring analysis.
