FST 4271 - Unit Operations in Food Processing II (2)


Study of mechanical separations, separation and concentration using membranes, dehydration, evaporation, packaging and other unit operations in food processing that involve mass transfer with or without heat transfer. 2 hours lecture/discussion.

Prerequisite(s): C- or better in FST 4170  or FST 417; and C- or better in FST 4170  or FST 417L.
