Candidates in the Multiple Subject program typically teach in elementary and middle school settings. The program of study for Preliminary SB 2042 Multiple Subject Credential includes authorization for teaching English Language learners. Admission to the program is required before core classes can be taken (exception: CPP juniors and seniors may enroll in EDU 5010 , EDU 5020 , EDU 5100 , and EDU 5302 ). Candidates wishing to concurrently earn the Bilingual Authorization must consult the coordinator of the Bilingual Program for admission to the program and develop a program plan.
