The University Library supports student success by providing effective and equitable access to resources, information, and data to students, faculty, and staff in support of the University’s instruction, research, and public service goals; by creating a welcoming and innovative learning environment where information can be explored and assimilated into knowledge; and by responding to the need of the University community to be information literate and lifelong learners. Whether online or in person, the Library serves as the intellectual and cultural “heart” of the campus.

Library faculty and staff work to prepare students not just for academic success, but for informed decision-making in careers and as citizens. Librarians work directly with students through a program of course-integrated library instruction, and with faculty on research assignment design and course preparation.
