The Administration Services Credential Program prepares educators to become leaders in public school settings. The program works closely with school districts to provide experiences grounded in the real issues facing public school leaders. Graduates of the program often seek building level and district level administrative positions. Educators considering taking a strong leadership role within the teaching profession are also encouraged to earn an Administrative Service credential.
Program Admissions
Admission requirements into the Administrative Services Credential program can be found on the program website. Additionally, the website above provides a downloadable program handbook that contains details information about coursework, fieldwork and candidate assessment necessary to obtain the credential. Note that courses from the Great Leaders for Great Schools Program (authorized by the CTC Experimental Standards) are equivalent to the existing standard courses and may be applied toward the credential and the M.A. Educational Leadership Subplan/Option.

Preparation activities/instructions for the three cycles of the CalAPA will be incorporated into the following courses listed above: EDL 5490 , EDL 5510 , EDL 5470 , EDL 5520 , and EDL 5530 .
* Interns are required to enroll in EDL 6920 during the regular academic year until they complete their Preliminary ASC requirements.
