Required Core Courses for Major: 10 units


Required of all students. A 2.0 cumulative GPA is required in core courses including subplan (option) courses for the major in order to receive a degree in the major.

There will be a requirement for graduation - an assessment activity.


Electives Subplan/Option Courses: 42 units


Select 42 units from only one emphasis area in consultation with your advisor:

  1. Nutrition and Health
  2. Pre-Professional
  3. Animal Science

Unrestricted Electives: 0-2 units


 Select a sufficient number of courses so that the total from “Required Support”, “GE”, and “Unrestricted Electives” is at least 104 units.

Medical, Veterinary, Pharmacy and Dental School Admission Requirements
