This program prepares the new Learning Experience Designers and Developers for the 21st Century, to design effective multimedia (MM) projects to meet the needs of a target audience for educational/training settings. It draws on knowledge of learning, communications, motivations, persuasion, technology, and culture. Students learn the current, proven learning principles, through a rigorous, production-based curriculum for producing interactive MM projects by mirroring real-world settings, emphasizing cross-disciplinary teamwork of subject-matter experts, programmers, artists, and clients through project-oriented goals to create solution systems. Students learn interpersonal skills and skills of adapting quickly to new environments, managerial and leadership skills to manage projects from initiation to completion. This program has applications anywhere people need to be taught or be trained.
