ENG 4223 - Applied Phonology (3) Specialized instruction on English phonology. Introduction to the sound system, IPA, articulatory phonetics, and phonological processes. Computer training provided for speech analyses. Applications of phonology to real-world contexts. Course culminates in research topic of student’s choice.
