CS 2610 - Introduction to Cyber Security and Network Communications (3) Fundamental concepts of cyber security and authentication systems. Fundamentals of network architecture, communication technologies and protocols. Client-server model and socket programming. Basic network attacks and defense mechanisms. Fundamentals of secure programming and web security. Basics of incident response and digital forensics. Overview of risk management and cyber law.
