EWS 3800 - Women in Global Perspective (3) [D4] A social science approach to examine the global inequality of women arising from globalization. Explore the gendered social constructions, global gendered division of labor, violence, human rights, and global economic and public policies. Explore women’s responses to globalization through cultural expressions and their involvement in local and global women’s movements. Course fulfills GE synthesis area D4.
