EWS 4400 - Feminist and Queer Theories (3) Explores the historical formations of advanced feminist and queer theories. Outlinea the shifting meanings of ‘feminism’ and ‘queer’ over time, by exploring how feminist and queer theorists resist gendered and sexual inequalities. Explores the way race, class, and citizenship inform feminist and queer theories. Explores tensions and growth within the emerging fields of feminist and queer studies.
