MFE 4650 - Metal Working Theory and Applications (3) Major emphasis on estimating forces required to produce the desired shape changes when metals are plastically deformed. Metal working processes such as drawing, extrusion, forging and rolling are discussed. Stress-strain relations and yield criteria for ductile metals.
