Design and application of machine components such as brakes, clutches, gears, flexible machine elements, and bearings. Lubrication of machine elements. Design techniques and design of a simple machine.

Prerequisite(s): MFE 2010 or MFE 201; MFE 2010L or MFE 201L; and C- or better in the following: ME 2150 or ME 215, and ME 3190 or ME 319.
Corequisite(s): ME 3250L.
