ENG 4512 - British Victorian Age (3) British Victorian Age features representative work from major authors through these genres: lyric poetry (e.g., sonnet, elegy, dramatic monologue), drama, novel, and criticism. The Victorian era (1837-1901) addresses issues about: Marriage, the Woman Question, Darwinism, Industrial Revolution, and Cultural Identity among other topics.
