ENG 4511 - British Romanticism (3) How do history and politics shape poetic production, especially the French Revolution? What were the industrial and environmental implications? This seminar will consider the historical-political context for English Romanticism and offer a sample of the major work: Romantic lyrics, closet drama, fragment, epic, prose, and criticism.
