URP 351 - Institutional Framework for Planning (4) Introduces the institutional framework for planning. Reviews the development of the General Plan, zoning, and the legal basis for modern planning. Emphasis is placed on gaining an understanding of the legal process that planners work within and applicable constitutional rights.
Prerequisite(s): C- or better in both URP 101/101A and URP 102/102A . Component(s): 4 lecture discussions.
