EWS 425 - Gender, Identity and Technology (4) Examines the interrelationship between identity, power and technological competency. Using perspectives from history, history of technology, sociology, gender and cultural studies, and political activists, students will explore connections between access and mastery of technology with power and changing societal patterns. Good academic standing. Open to all majors. Course fulfills GE Interdisciplinary Synthesis B5 or D4.
Prerequisite(s): One GE course from each of the following Sub-areas: A1, A2, A3, and B1, B2, and D2, D3.
