EDS 404 - Special Education in a Pluralistic Society (4) Theoretical models and pedagogical applications related to the development of academic language and teaching English Learners in general, special education, and inclusive classrooms. Instruction in understanding and acceptance of differences in culture, cultural heritage, ethnicity, language, age, religion, social economic status, gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, and abilities and disabilities of individuals served. Includes field experience.
