BIO 330/330L - Marine Biology (3/1) Characteristics of the marine environment and its life, with an emphasis on the ecology of marine ecosystems and the impact of humans. A discussion of the living marine resources and the significance of their use. Courses fulfill GE Synthesis B5.
Prerequisite(s): One GE course from each of the following Subareas: A1, A2, A3 and B1, B2, B4 (BIO 110/111L , or BIO 115/115A/115L , or BIO 121/121L ). Component(s): Three 1-hour lectures discussions; 1 three-hour laboratory (five week-end field trips required). When Offered: W, Sp Note(s): Open to all majors.
