ARC 323/323A - Structures (3/1) Theories of structural design and the relationship of structure to form, function, and economics. Analysis of structural systems, including the determination of forces, stresses, and deflections. The design of concrete and masonry structures as a medium for introducing basic concepts of building and construction systems and materials.
Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate standing in architecture, and ARC 322/322A or graduate standing in architecture. Concurrent: Concurrent enrollment required. Component(s): 3 one-hour lectures, 1 one-hour discussion.
