AVS 305 - Genetics of Domestic Animals (4) An introductory course dealing with genetic principles of all species of livestock and companion animals. Topics covered include: principles of heredity, genetic abnormalities, transmission genetics, Mendelian principles, molecular genetics, population genetics, DNA and RNA structure and function, gene expression, and biotechnology advances in genetics.
