Application of matrix methods in engineering analysis and also matrix concepts. Topics include matrix algebra and concepts, special matrices. Ranks of matrices, Eigenvalues and eigenvectors. Generalized inverses, quadratic forms, and engineering and mathematical applications in image processing, analysis of structures, circuit analysis, statistics, numerical analysis, data mining.

Prerequisite(s): ECE Majors only; Undergraduate course in linear algebra and graduate standing or consent of instructor.
