ME 5711 - Fundamentals of Robotics (3)

An overview of robotic systems; Topics include common robotic mechanisms, dynamics, planar and 3-D kinematics, manipulators, robotic controls, actuators, sensors, and microprocessors. Other topics that may be included are wireless communication and control, human-machine interfacing, and multiple robot networks. A hands-on robot project is required demonstrating the usage robotic mechanisms and control.
