EWS 4430 - Women, Health, and Body Politics (3) Using history, sociology, anthropology, popular culture, and literature, examine the centrality of health issues to women’s political movements. Investigate concrete contemporary threats to health posed by one’s gender, racial, sexual, and economic status and the ways that public health problems are barometers of injustice.
