EWS 4310 - Ethnicity, Gender and Religion/Spirituality (3) Explores religious experiences of selected ethnic and gender groups from an interdisciplinary and social science approach. The course examines the role played by religious traditions and spiritual beliefs in indigenous cultural life, migration, ethnic networking, family, social conflicts, social change and cultural/ethnic identity. Explore roles played by women in religious and spiritual activities, address inter- and intra-ethnic group similarities and differences in religious and spiritual traditions and practices. Course fulfills GE synthesis area D4.
