Explore critical questions about interdisciplinarity, learning, the aims of higher education, and the university experience; the nature of human knowledge and the development of human consciousness and community in various regions of the world. Topics will include: myth, symbol, performance, and ceremony; prehistory and patterns of living; identities and cultures; cosmologies and cosmogonies, nature of tragedy, and philosophers and thinkers of the ancient world.
