SPN 4360 - Hispanic Cinema (3) History, practice and theory of cinema produced in Spanish from its origins to the present, with emphasis on the concepts and vocabulary necessary to analyze films. Major works and directors of LA’s Hispanic Hollywood, Sephardic cinema, and present-day Spanish and Latin American cinema presented within their socio-cultural context.
