EDD 7120 - Creating the Conditions for Student Success (3) Addresses the past two decades of school reform requiring new leadership roles and expertise to improve teaching and learning by developing teacher leadership and capacity, providing differentiated instructional approaches, using assessments and multiple sources of data for decisions, evaluating curriculum and programs, and identifying research-based strategies. Field-based research assignments apply theories and reforms to practice.The focus is on standards, aligned curricular frameworks, instructional methods for diverse students, assessments to guide practice, and accountability for outcomes.
