Comparative study of the Spanish and English languages, as well as of Spanish in the context of other Romance languages. The course addresses pronunciation, grammar, word meaning, language use, and social and dialectal variation.

Prerequisite(s): SPN 250, SPN 251, SPN 252, SPN 253, SPN 254, SPN 256, SPN 2112, or SPN 2120.
